Prisons have some internal security measures that are to be kept confidential and by misusing mobile phones, the security measures may be exposed. Thus, a large amount of prisons must follow strict laws in order to prevent the disclosure of the inner security measures.
- Internet connectivity: Majority of the mobile phones have WAP features whereby it is possible to connect to the Internet by just clicking the right buttons. The prisoners can contact the world and expose the complete information of the prison to the whole public. A prisoner can misuse the facility of using internet with the help of WAP and just by sitting inside the prison, he can form a network with the help of advanced features of the mobile phone and this can be quite dangerous for the prison and its security. Thus, it is very dangerous to possess a mobile phone gift for the prisoners.
